Hoops

My husband is on a local volleyball league that plays one night a week for a few winter months. I took my son in to watch him play this week. He sat there the whole match and just watched! I always find it amazing when he sits that long. Oh, yeah, and he was holding a volleyball the whole time. He just finds most sports fascinating. Last week we watched a 7th and 8th grade basketball game at the local school. My son got so excited when we walked into the gym. “Basketball!” He even does commentary – “two points!” he would exclaim when the ball dropped into the basket. “Missed!” was shouted quite loudly a few times when the ball didn’t quite hit its target. He tried to shoot some hoops after the game, but he can’t quite make it into the ten-foot-high basket.
