Meds

My 2-year-old is now on meds. She has some amoxicillion (the pink stuff) that she will be on for a while. The doctor also gave her some pain stuff because tylenol wasn't touching the pain in her ear. I'm a person who hates giving pain meds unless it's totally necessary - but it was necessary for two nights with her. I know what an ear infection feels like and it's terrible pain.
She says her ears are better now, but she's still not feeling very perky. She's been a bit irritable lately, and last night I happened to notice she is getting her 3rd molar. She been a tough teether, so that explains a bit of the irritability. It will be nice when I have three healthy kids again.

Sick Babies

I have a sick little girl. She's been complaining about her ears for three days and has had a cold for a few weeks and a cough for several days. I have an appointment for her to see her pediatrician this afternoon. I sure hope she gets better - I would really like
some sleep tongiht!

Smiles

My baby girl likes to smile - at me and at her daddy. She has also smiled a bit at her big brother. She doesn't smile so much at her big sister because her sister gets about two inches from her face when she talks to her, and that's a tad bit frightening. She smiled at me when she was two days old, and has about every day since. She's pretty fun!
