I have a darling baby.
He is sweet and smiley,
warm and cuddly,
and a whole lot of fun.
He loves watching his family and interacting with his siblings.
He is needy. He takes lots of time and energy, which I enjoy giving. He depends on me for everything; for food, for warmth, for affection, for everything.
Without me to take care of his needs, he would not make it very long.
It makes me think.
Without Someone to take care of my needs, I would not make it very long. Sure, I could make it through life on earth, like so many people do, with an empty spot in my soul.
But eternity would really be a drag.
