Yes, I know, this is a picture of a toilet.
My kids and I went to a fun picnic gathering a few miles from my house. We ended up walking around the woods* a bit, and I ended up with many, many ticks crawling all over me. I took the kids home and sent my oldest and his friend downstairs to the bathroom to do tick-checks. They found a few and did the tick-flush.
I then took my two girls and my two-year-old nephew into the upstairs bathroom and did a tick-check on them and me. We found lots (see picture).
*the term "woods" being used loosely, noting which state we reside in
