Picture #2: The new stairway after the walls were sheetrocked, primed, and painted. The stairs were carpeted, the door put in, and the hardware installed.
The stairs are so cushy and soft. My son is really excited about walking down the stairs with only socks (we used to need shoes to go down in the basement).
