I have found that kids (at least my kids) can sleep in most any position. My son can have a good snooze while plopped over in his booster seat in the car. My older daughter can sleep sitting up and lying down and hanging off her bed. She slept in my bed a few mornings ago and I awoke to her sleeping sideways with her feet in my face and her head hanging off the other side. My baby daughter can catch a good nap while dangling in my arms during supper preparations.
Maybe I'm so amazed at this because I don't really take naps and like to have my "just right" pillow when I slumber.
